Give-A-Day for the Bay: Cockroach Bay

No this is not a joke - there is a place called Cockroach Bay in Ruskin. This area has undergone much restoration, but still needs some helping hands to rid the area of invasive plants. The Tampa Bay Estuary Program be working with Preserve staff to remove the invasive Brazilian pepper plant.

Come and work with them and find out why it was named Cockroach Bay.
