Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez Hosts Exhibit of Local Artist

CORTEZ — The Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez, located inside the historic 1912 Cortez Schoolhouse, is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibit of local artist and Cortez fisherman, Marty Tupin. The exhibit, "Reflections of Imagination," will feature abstracts inspired by colors and patterns on water, as well as those of fish that Mr. Tupin has come across in the line of his work as a fisherman.

The exhibit is located at the Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez, 4415 119th Street West in Cortez. The exhibit opens with a reception on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and runs through Saturday, August 11, 2012.

Select pieces will be available via silent auction for the duration of the exhibit. Auction will close at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 11th.
