Scalloping Webinars: Regulations & Recipes!

If you are thinking about going scalloping for the first time, or if you are a seasoned scalloper who has questions such as, "Why do we only eat the white meat?" or "Why are there more scallops some years and fewer scallops other years?" this webinar is for you!

Florida Sea Grant agents Fred Vose and Bryan Fluech will lead a one-hour lesson and question-and-answer session on this favorite summer activity.

Webinars will address:
• biology and life history of bay scallops
• regulations and equipment needed
• collecting and handling tips
• recipe resources
• scallop restoration efforts
