Causeway Beach Closed due to Wastewater Spill

South side of Causeway beach closed to swimmers There has been a spill of an estimated 10,000 gallons of domestic/untreated wastewater into the south side of Palma Sola Bay due to a force main break on the south side of the Palm Sola Causeway. The south side of the Causeway has been closed until readings return back to normal. The affected areas have been limed and washed down and the break has been repaired.
